I've been a constant traveler for ages. I love to travel especially around the Philippines. Although I had my share of Asian travels in a couple of countries (Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Singapore) nothing beats the beauty of the land where I was born. There is still so much to see and explore. Nature enthralls me and teases me. Its like a coquettish entity I couldn't resist. It's like an addiction to me--breathing in the different sites and sounds of each place so unique in their own way. It's a gift that God so freely gives, the wonder of nature.
Besides traveling, writing has been close to my heart. I started to write early grade school, mostly poetry and later on it turned into blogging--very private blogs that I write and I don't really mind if no one's bothering to read. I enjoy the act and take pleasure in the weave of words. That is, more often than not, enough. For that reason besides the accounts on my travels with my husband (or alone at that) I also placed a page for my blogs. Basically its my "thoughts" page. Whatever comes to mind I could type right in. It is a necessity to my existence. It keeps me sober and sane.
What better partner to travel and writing, but the photos that goes with it? It is a means of memory preservation. Encounters and episodes pass but the one's which remain on photos would forever be remembered. Our past is what links us to this very day and that is why memories are important vessels of our very core--the very reason why photography is of interest to me. I seek to make moments last for myself and for other people as well. I started a photo and video business with my husband recently as an answer to my call of passion. For works of my group you could click on this link your own studio. I couldn't be happier with my choice. Giving up all the perks and money of my corporate life had been worth my while. My current life is the life I chose and I would stick by it through mess and bliss.
