2011 Travels
Grand Villa Resort & Butterfly Center, Laguna (November, 2011)
After spending Oliver's advance birhday at Camarines Sur a few days ago, we again celebrated it a day after in Laguna. We decided to have a private celebration on our own at a secluded resort in Laguna. The resort not only had nifty rooms, their general landscape was also gorgeous. They are famous for their Butterfly Garden but besides that they also have other amenities such as their pool, badminton and basketball courts and the like. Although we didn't get to visit, they also have an adventure camp for group activities. To learn more and appreciate this resort, click on the link above.
CWC, Camarines Sur (November, 2011)
Visiting Cam Sur without dropping by CWC would be incomplete. CWC, also known as Camsur Watersports Complex is a well known park designed for wakeboarding, wakeskating and waterskiing. It is open for both novices and experts. To get to know more about the park click on link above.
Caramoan, Camarines Sur (November, 2011)
The islands of Caramoan are isolated from the rest of Camarines Sur. Due to its location, it has become Cam Sur's secret paradise free from human exploits and preserved by its seclusion. Its beautiful islands promises to captivate one's senses. It could enthrall you with its natural beauty--with its infinite sand bars, magnificent limestone rock and cliff formations, finest white sands one could thread upon and crystal clear waters one could enjoy. I have to admit that after all my travels around the Philippines, Caramoan has the best islands. No wonder, the international Survivor chose these group of islands for their show.

Puerto Princesa, Palawan (July, 2011)
Puerto Princesa Palawan is famous for its Underground River as one of UNESCO's protected sites. Besides the famous cave, there are countless sites to visit even in their own city. The inhabitants are well disciplined. One could not throw trash just anywhere or else you would be fined or worst, imprisoned. This accounts for Puerto Princesa's clean and green surroundings. The crime rates are even close to a zero percentile. If you'd ask me, I'd recommend it for retirement. Plus, it is not under fault lines, making earthquakes non-existent.

Anawangin Cove, Zambales (May, 2011)
Anawangin Cove is a crescent shaped beach with pristine white sand. Its white sand was brought about by the ashes from the Mt. Pinatubo eruption. Apparently the existence of pine trees lining the area was brought about by the same tragedy during 90's. There are no roads leading to Anawangin. It is only accessible by a 30 minute boat ride from Pundaquit, San Antonio, Zambales.
Just behind the beach is the pine forest and a marsh, where natural springs join the sea. Click the link above to view more pictures and get more information on this natural wonder.

Silanguin Cove, Zambales (April, 2011)
Silanguin Cove is considered one of the biggest and one of the most beautiful in San Antonio Zambales. It is less famous than Anawangin giving it a more virgin feel. It is not crowded at all when you compare it to Anawangin. In fact there are less campers in the area, a group or two stay overnight. The same pristine white sand surrounds the shore and the same pine trees line up the area.
Silanguin can be reached via boats from Pundaquit and unlike Anawangin it takes about an hour of boat ride. It is definitely farther. Click the link above for more information and photos of the beautiful island.
